The charger unit itself — the physical box that plugs into your car — is typically priced and sold separately, whether you buy it yourself or your electrician supplies it as part of a bundled quote.

If a quote you received is higher than our installation range, check whether it includes the charger hardware. A bundled quote that covers both labor and a mid-range charger unit can reasonably land well above the installation-only figure — that's not necessarily a sign of overcharging, just a different scope.
